: SAVED?

TEXT: Mark 16:16
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”  (Mark 16:16)KJV
To be saved is to make it to the Kingdom of GOD, but Satan our adversary hates it when people have salvation, salvation is what you have that makes you saved at the end, that is accepting JESUS CHRIST and living a life that pleases Him. The reason Satan hates it is; he cannot be saved “he is damned forever”, so tries his best to stop every other person from being saved. He can use anything or medium like the things of this world that appeals to people such as money, fame, beauty and affluence; these things are not bad actually, but Satan can make people have them in exchange for their salvation, because he knows this world is temporal, so he does not care if someone enjoys this world and lose their salvation which is priceless before leaving the world “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26)
The devil can give anything to steal one’s soul “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.  (John 10:10)KJV
Are you still in sin? You need to give your life to CHRIST now, else; Satan the thief will steal your soul away.

MIXED MULTITUDES

TEXT: Nehemiah 13: 1-3 “On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and there was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of GOD for ever: Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our GOD turned the curse into a blessing. Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitudes.” (KJV)
Firstly, the ammonites and the Moabites in the text are gentiles, just like us and I believe today that their tribes are qualified to serve GOD because JESUS CHRIST came to wash away the sins of the whole world including them. An example is the Samaritan woman that met JESUS at by the well, she thought she was not qualified to talk with a Jew because she was a Samaritan considered sinner , but JESUS still saved her because He came to save the whole world, I believe this applies to the Ammonites and Moabites too.
In this context, in the old-testament mixed multitudes as read from the text are sinners that GOD detests; they can be likened to those sinful habits, behaviors and characteristics that we have. GOD loves everyone as always, and HIS hatred for sin also has not changed, this is the reason JESUS CHRIST came to the world so that everyone can choose to forsake their sins and come to GOD.
A very great disadvantage of keeping these mixed multitudes is that; GOD will not answer anyone that has iniquities in them, Psalm 66:18 says ” If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me.”(KJV), also, Proverbs 15:8 says “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is HIS delight” (KJV). This means that GOD will not answer the prayers of those that have iniquity in them in fact GOD calls them wicked people, so not even their praises will HE accept, except if they prayer of repentance. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sins, and will heal their land” (KJV) .
So if you are still a sinner, reconcile with GOD today, so that you will enjoy HIS benefits, say this short prayer.

FEAR GOD

Text: Psalm 111: 5-6 " HE hath given meat unto them that fear him/: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. He hath shewed his people the power of his works; that he may give them the heritage of the heathen"
From the text that we read, you will understand that there is a lot for you to gain if you fear God; He will provide for you, also He will show you the power of His works. that is what He did to take the children of Israel out of captivity in the land of Egypt; like parting the sea and allowing the Israelites to walk on dry land through the sea, destroying their enemies in this same sea, providing water for them to drink from a rock, and the way He tormented Pharaoh and the whole land of Egypt because of His children. That is what the power of God can do and it is meant for only His own people, His children, those that fear Him. Another thing the fear of God will do is that it will make you live long; Proverbs 10:27 says: "The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the tears of the wicked shall be shortened."
To fear God is to do the will of God; that is to stop committing sin.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ the savior as yours, it shows that you do not have the fear of God, and that means more than not enjoying His power in your favor, but also that you can a victim of anything like the Egyptians if God needs to do something for His own people and you are on His way, also the last part of Psalms 111: 26 makes us to know that God will give what belongs to sinner to His own children. So if you reject Christ again, you at risk of God exploiting you for His own children.

HARVEST IS COMING

Matthew 13:24 - 30
" Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought up fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the house holder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in he time of harvest i will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into the barn"
In the beginning, God created man in His own image (Genesis 1:27), but sin came into the life of man through disobedience to God (Genesis 3:1-6). After this, there were provisions for reconciliation by offering animals as sacrifices, but this had to be done over and over each time one comes short of God's commandments, so God decided to provide a final solution to this because of the love He has for the world by sending JESUS CHRIST, His only begotten Son to die for all our sins, and after this, man was reconciled to God.
This reconciliation is not automatic for everyone because you must do your own part, which is; to accept the offer. JESUS came down from heaven to die for our sins, and if you want this to be applicable to your own life; you have to accept Jesus as your own LORD and SAVIOR so that He will bear all your burdens.
Matthew 11:28 says " Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
In our text above, the only way you will not be as the tares which will be burnt is accepting Jesus. Accept Jesus today so that all your burdens will be taken away.
