SALVATION BY GRACE

TEXT: Ephesians 2:8

        ”For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ”

What is salvation? Simply put it is when one is saved. What does it mean for someone to be saved? It means such person has been justified of his/her sins. What does it mean to be justified of sins? And what are sins? Sins are the actions people take that do not please GOD (like lying, stealing, cheating and so on). To be justified of sins is to be forgiven of all ones sins by GOD, such that the sins are considered as they were never committed, so such sinner has been acquitted of his/her sins by GOD.

Why do we need forgiveness from GOD?

We need it because after this world, everyone will have to give an account of all that they have done to GOD, and those that did not please GOD during their lifetime will face an eternal punishment, it is hell, while those that are found worthy will stay with GOD in HIS kingdom.

How can a dead person be judged? The bible says in Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” so everybody will be judged.

                How can I be saved?

GOD has made a provision for us all to be saved, John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Who is this Son of GOD, His name is Jesus, He came to save everyone of us from sin all you need to do is just to believe that he is the Son of GOD and that he came to save us all, then confess all your sins to Him and promise Him you will not commit sins again, if you have done this, then I congratulate you because you are saved.

A LOVING GOD

TEXT: JOHN 3:16

                “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(KJV)

                It is very easy for someone to claim that he loves others, because our mouth can say anything whether we mean it or not, but look at the love of GOD towards mankind, HE sent HIS only SON JESUS to die for the sins that every body has and will commit. Definitely this kind of love is rare to find, for someone to give his own life as a ransom for others sins JOHN15:13 says “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”(KJV) there is nothing anyone can give that can be greater than his/her own life. JESUS gave HIS life to redeem us from sin only because HE loves us, the love is not the common type of love around which is feigned but true love that promises eternal life, HE gave HIS own life on earth so that we may be able to live with HIM in eternity eternally.

                Now this is a call to salvation, JESUS CHRIST came into this world to save us from sins (which can only lead us to eternal doom) and to give us a hope of eternal life, joy and peace; all you need to do is to accept HIM as the savior of the world and your own savior because HE died for your sins too, tell about HIM all your sins and renounce them, in John 15:13 HE calls us HIS friends. He is actually a friend indeed he cares about you, HE is always present. Just accept HIM today and you are guaranteed of eternal life.

GOD OF MERCY

TEXT: PSALM 116:5

                “Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. “

GOD is merciful, Psalm 103:8 says “ The LORD is merciful and gracious, sloe to anger and plenteous in mercy” so HE is so merciful HE allows things that happen to HIS children (those that have accepted CHRIST) to also happen to those that have refused HIM. For instance HE allows rain to fall on everyone in an area when rain is falling in that area, although not everyone in that area is HIS child. HE allows the sun to benefit everyone on earth but a lot of people do not even know HIM. HE is so merciful that no matter how much sin one has committed HE is always ready to forgive and keep such in HIS care. HE loves everyone, that is why HE sent HIS only SON JESUS CHRIST to die for our sins. When one lives in the care of GOD you are sure you cannot fall sick anyhow, because HE will keep you in good health, the truth is JESUS CHRIST has taken away all sicknesses because the bible says in Isaiah 53:5 that “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. “ but this works only for the children of GOD.

Also GOD expects HIS children to be like HIM in mercy and kkindness Matthew 5:45 says “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” GOD wants HIS children to be like HIM in the way HE shows HIS  mercies towards everyone. You can be more like GOD by forgiving everyone that has wronged you as GOD forgave and forgives everyone.

If you have not accepted the mercy of GOD towards mankind by accepting JESUS CHRIST the SON of GOD as your LORD, please accept HIM today. Just say it from the bottom of your heart that you accept that HE is LORD and SAVIOR and that you are sorry for all the wrongs you have done. Ask HIM to forgive you and tell HIM to come into your heart, and that as HE helps you, you will not commit sin again. If you have done this, welcome to the fold of the precious ones of GOD.

GOD OF WONDERS

TEXT: ISAIAH 9:6

        “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. “

GOD is wonderful in HIS ways and being; in fact all about HIM is wonderful, from the text JESUS CHRIST was addressed as Wonderful, all about HIM is wonderful and HE does only wonderful things in the lives of HIS own people. Think on this; is it not wonderful for you to sacrifices your only son because some people commit sin and you want to provide a means for them to be washed and forgiven of their sins and be holy, but GOD is wonderful in HIS love towards us. HE gave HIS only begotten SON; JESUS CHRIST to die for the sins of everyone so that we all can be saved from hell if we accept HIM. JOHN 3:16“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life “

            Apart from the greatest wonder of dying for our sins and giving us salvation, HE performs other wonders in the lives of people; HE heals all manner of diseases, even the incurable ones MATTHEW 9: 20-22 “And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour” HE raises people from death JOHN 11:43-44 “And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go “even as unbelievable as it is that a dead person can be raised; these are things that GOD does.

            There is but one common thing in the lives of these people that enjoys the wonders of GOD;

 They all believed in HIM. So the only way you can be a partaker of HIS wonders is to believe in HIM. If you cannot believe, you cannot experience HIS wonders; you must believe that JESUS CHRIST died for your sins; accept HIM as your Savior, decide and pray that HE should help you to always do HIS will and commit sin no more, confess HIM with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your savior, ask HIM to wash away all your sins, HE will forgive you if you pray with a repentant heart and accept you into HIS kingdom.
