Proverbs 22:28, Jeremiah 6:16
Christians of this generation; this is a short exhortation for us, we seem to have advanced so much with the world that even the requirements for pleasing GOD seems to have changed, but then I remembered 2 Timothy 2:19 which says "Nevertheless the foundation of GOD standeth sure, having this seal, The LORD knoweth them that are HIS, And, Let everyone that nameth the name of CHRIST depart from iniquity" (KJV) and I got confused. We profess to be christians, some even say they are genuinely born again children of GOD; but nothing looks like it about them; in dressing, conversation and character.
Our GOD is an unchangeable GOD; if you know this, what then makes you think that HE will accept now what HE did not accept then? Remember John 10:10 " The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy ..." (KJV) the devil wants to steal our salvation, please do not choose to be a victim. 1 Corinthians 10:12 "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." (KJV). Philipians 2:12 " ... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (KJV)
You might have read this and have never for once given your life to CHRIST pkease do so now by saying this short prayer: LORD JESUS I thank you for loving me. I agree that I am a sinner, and I believe that you are the SON of GOD, I also believe that you came into this world to die for all my sins. I accept you as my LORD and SAVIOUR. LORD please help me to live a life that pleases you from today onwards. Amen.
If you just said this prayer, then I congratulate you, and welcome you to the family of JESUS CHRIST, I will advice you start attending a bible believing church, pray and study the Bible often so that you will know GOD more.
